Sparklers

Celebration sparklers are one of the simplest and most photogenic accessories for milestone moments — a wedding send-off, a New Year's midnight countdown, or a landmark birthday. The warm gold glow they produce photographs beautifully in low light, and a group of people holding sparklers simultaneously creates one of the most visually distinctive party photos possible. Burn length determines which sparkler works for your purpose. Short sparklers (10") burn for approximately 45 seconds — suitable for a quick moment or a cake lighting effect. Longer sparklers (20" or 36") burn for 2–3 minutes — better for a wedding send-off where the couple walks through a lit corridor, or a New Year's countdown where guests want sustained glow through midnight.

Sparklers must be used outdoors or in a large, well-ventilated space — they produce a significant amount of smoke and require clear space around each person holding one. Never use sparklers indoors. Keep a bucket of water or sand nearby to safely extinguish used sparklers immediately after use.
