Party Boutiques Guide
Bubble balloons occupy a different category from latex and foil entirely. Made from stretchy, crystal-clear PVC rather than rubber or metallic film, they inflate into a perfect sphere and hold helium for 2–3 weeks — a float life that no other balloon type comes close to. That longevity makes them a cost-efficient choice despite their higher per-unit price, and their visual clarity makes them a premium option for events where the balloon needs to look as good at the end of the night as it did at the start.
The transparency is the other defining characteristic. Left clear, bubble balloons bring a minimal, modern aesthetic that works beautifully in sophisticated event design — wedding receptions, milestone birthdays, corporate events — where standard latex or foil would feel too casual. Alternatively, the clear shell becomes a canvas: fill it with confetti, dried flower petals, small latex balloons, or tissue before sealing, and the fill material floats within the sphere, visible from every angle. Confetti fill in gold, silver, or rose gold is consistently one of our most popular options for this reason.
Bubble balloons require slightly more care than standard balloons: avoid sharp surfaces and keep them away from rough walls. They can be re-inflated if they lose some air over their long float life. At Party Boutiques in Thornhill, we carry bubble balloons in multiple sizes with several confetti fill options.
2–3 weeks of helium float time means you can install bubble balloons well ahead of your event and remove them well after — or reuse them across multiple events.
Add a small amount of confetti inside the balloon before inflating. Rub the outside with a wool cloth to create static — it makes the confetti cling to the inside walls evenly.
PVC is more puncture-resistant than latex but still vulnerable to rough surfaces. Keep bubble balloons away from textured walls, brick, and exposed ceiling beams.
If a bubble balloon loses some helium over its long float life, use a thin straw inserted into the neck to carefully add more gas without fully deflating.
